Job Title: Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team at Canada Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support and guidance to users, as well as participating in the redesign of applications and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support and guidance to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and software
  • Consult user guides, technical manuals, and other documents to research and implement solutions
  • Participate in the redesign of applications and software to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Supervise other technical support workers in the group
  • Provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users
  • Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations
  • Provide customer service and support
Requirements:
  • College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience
  • 5 years or more of experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of ITIL, JavaOS, security software, project management software, website creation and management software, web service design, database software, and software development
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide excellent customer service
  • Willingness to travel
