Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Truck Supervisor to join our team at SIDH TRUCK TRANSPORTATION INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising truck drivers and projects, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, and coordinating repairs and rentals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of truck drivers and coordinate their activities
  • Train or arrange for training to ensure drivers have the necessary skills and knowledge
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient operations
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Recommend personnel actions and participate in the hiring process
  • Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35 to 40 hour work week. The work environment is outdoors, and the successful candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Language and Availability

The language of work is English, and the successful candidate must be available for shift or on-call work. They must also be willing to relocate for this position.
