Job OverviewThis role involves operating ultrasound imaging equipment to produce and record images of patients, analyzing patient data during treatments, and preparing examination reports for physicians. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background, be willing to relocate, and possess excellent analytical skills.
Responsibilities- Operate ultrasound imaging equipment to produce high-quality images and recordings.
- Analyze patient data during treatments to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment recommendations.
- Prepare detailed examination reports for physicians, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Canadian Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers Registration.
- Certification by a provincial or territorial association.
- Experience as a diagnostic imaging specialist an asset.
- Competitive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on experience.
- Dental plan, health care plan, and vision care benefits.
- Pension plan and maternity and parental benefits.
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This position is located in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
