About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Lifestyle Options. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all site kitchen operations and staff, ensuring the quality of food preparation and service meets and exceeds our standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain culinary standards, procedures, and site-specific KPIs
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen inventories and adhere to sanitation standards
  • Develop and implement menu planning, including creating, developing, costing, and implementing standardized recipes
  • Minimize food costs by increasing revenue, decreasing kitchen expenses, and maximizing departmental productivity
  • Provide backup on-site support to Head Chefs in their absence
  • Coordinate outside catering functions, banquets, and special events
  • Attend and participate in site food committee meetings and resident meetings
Requirements
  • Culinary Education Trade Papers, Red Seal, or equivalent required
  • 10+ years of related experience in a high-volume and commercial environment
  • Food and beverage management experience with demonstrated multi-site leadership
  • Thorough background in banquets, commercial settings, catering, and Senior's Living
  • Financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, and costing
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation, conflict resolution, people management, and coaching skills
