**Job Title:** Business Operations Director

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Director to join our team at Empower Simcoe. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership and direction to our organization, ensuring the effective management of our financial systems, operations, and administrative services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning and Management: Develop and implement financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to ensure the organization's financial stability and growth.
  • Operational Leadership: Provide strategic direction and oversight to our operations, including finance, information technology, property, procurement, and administrative services.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the CEO, Board of Directors, and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategies that align with our mission and goals.
  • Team Management: Lead and manage a team of professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their success and growth.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all legislative, licensing, and funding requirements are met, and that risk management strategies are in place to protect the organization.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including community organizations, services, and individuals, to build strategic partnerships and opportunities for inclusion.

Requirements:

  • Education: University degree in Business Management or Accounting, plus a Professional Accounting designation.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of related experience, with a minimum of 5 years of recent full-time experience in a senior management role, preferably in a human services environment.
  • Skills: Strong strategic management and team building skills, project management skills, advanced knowledge of computer applications, and accounting software.
