Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the CEO and Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategy
  • Develop and manage financial plans and budgets, ensuring alignment with agency goals and objectives
  • Provide financial information and analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning
  • Oversee the completion of quarterly financial forecasts and annual budgets
  • Identify and pursue new sources of funding and revenue
  • Ensure compliance with legislative, licensing, and funding requirements
  • Provide leadership and direction to the finance and operations teams
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community organizations and service providers
  • Mentor and develop staff to ensure succession planning and talent development

Requirements:

  • University degree in Business Management or Accounting, plus a Professional Accounting designation
  • Minimum 7 years of related experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and Not-for-Profit Accounting Standards
  • Strong strategic management and team building skills
  • Proven ability to manage within a unionized environment
  • Project management skills and advanced knowledge of computer applications and accounting software
