Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Electronic Systems Engineering

We are seeking a highly qualified individual to fill a tenure-track faculty position in the Lab Instructor category in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Regina.
About the FacultyThe Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science is a comprehensive institution that emphasizes excellence in teaching and research, as well as public service. We offer five programs in Electronic, Environmental, Industrial, Petroleum and Software Systems Engineering, as well as M. Eng., M.A.Sc. and Ph.D. programs, and interdisciplinary graduate programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, revise, and conduct undergraduate lab courses in one or more areas of program specialization, including Communications, Micro-Electronics, Control Systems, and Power.
- Conduct lab courses in core electronic systems topics, including ENEL 280/ENEL 281/ENEL 282/ENEL 383/ENEL 384.
- Become familiar with VHDL, FPGA, and SoC devices, and have experience in designing, prototyping, and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Work successfully in a team environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to teaching and developing lab courses, as well as Faculty and university service.
- B.A.Sc. or equivalent in Electronic Systems Engineering or a closely related area, with the appropriate credentials for registration as a Professional Engineer in Saskatchewan.
- Diploma of Applied Science/Technology in Electronic Systems Engineering or a closely related area, with the appropriate credentials for registration as an Applied Science Technologist in Saskatchewan.
- Industrial experience in Communications and/or Micro-Electronics.
- Previous teaching experience.
