Foundry is dedicated to breaking down barriers and expanding access to health and wellness services for young people ages 12–24 and their caregivers across British Columbia.
The organization operates a network of youth-friendly centres across British Columbia and online platforms, offering five core integrated services: mental health care, substance use services, physical and sexual health care, youth and family peer support, and social services.
A Family Physician with a passion for preventive medicine and youth health will join an interdisciplinary team to deliver client-centered medical care to youth, supporting Foundry's valuable mission to make support more accessible in communities.

OneSky Community Resources, as the lead agency and operator of Foundry Penticton, provides services throughout the South Okanagan from newborn babies to seniors.
The community blends urban amenities with small-town charm, making it an attractive location for those seeking a balanced lifestyle.
The newly built Dave Kampe Tower at Penticton Regional Hospital supports family medicine practitioners in a collaborative environment.
We require enthusiasm for, and experience in, working with adolescents and young adults.
Proficiency in addressing common physical and emotional problems of young people is essential.
Understanding of adolescent and young adult physical, psychological, and social development is also required.
The ideal candidate will be able, or willing to be trained, to support gender-affirming care, opioid agonist therapy, and contraceptive support.
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in reproductive health, including sexual health and STI prevention and treatment, are necessary.
Familiarity with harm reduction strategies and health promotion/prevention strategies is also expected.
Awareness of the unique ethical, legal, and confidentiality issues in caring for young people is crucial.
Knowledge of hospital and community resources available for young people is also required.
The successful candidate will provide team-based care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team including nurse practitioners, registered nurses, social workers, counselors, etc.
They will deliver services, assessments, and support in areas including mental health, sexual health, physical health, and substance use.
The role requires utilizing a harm reduction approach to care, ensuring services are tailored to the unique needs of young people and prioritizing accessibility and inclusivity.
The successful candidate will participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing client outcomes, contributing to projects across acute and community care.
