About the Job

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year, plus benefits including dental, health care, and vision care plans. You will work 40 hours per week in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, answering phone calls, and responding to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate the switchboard or telephone system, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and ensuring seamless communication among staff and patients.
  • Process information required to provide customer service, using electronic medical records and MS Office software.
  • Record and relay important information, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and logs.
  • Schedule appointments, send invoices, and receive payments, ensuring timely and efficient financial transactions.
  • Maintain work records and logs, performing clerical duties such as filing, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Answer phone calls, relay messages, and provide directory assistance, ensuring patients and visitors receive the help they need.
  • Calculate billing charges and provide customer service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, or equivalent experience.
