About the Role:
We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join our team at Penticton Regional Hospital. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties including taking blood and specimen samples from patients, preparing blood and other specimens for analysis, performing routine lab tests, distributing specimens to departments and outside Labs, operating related equipment, entering data into the LIS and performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required.

What You Will Work On:
- Taking blood and specimen samples from patients
- Preparing blood and other specimens for analysis
- Performing routine lab tests
- Distributing specimens to departments and outside Labs
- Operating related equipment
- Entering data into the LIS
- Performing related clerical duties and ECG testing as required
Competitive Compensation:
We offer a competitive salary and shift premiums. The estimated hourly pay rate for this role is $29.27 per hour. About Our Location:
Penticton Regional Hospital is a referral centre for three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan. Our Emergency department sees upwards of 36k visits and we have 129 acute beds and 102 extended care beds offering a full range of health services to the community.
