Nurse Specialist in Medical Care

About the Job:
The Nurse Specialist in Medical Care plays a vital role in various clinical settings, responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating client care. This position requires collaboration with an interdisciplinary team to ensure delivery of client-centered care.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity with a salary range of $83,000-$114,000 per year. Shifts will be scheduled days and nights, rotating from 07:00 to 19:00, 19:00 to 07:00 hours.
About this Location/Unit:
Penticton Regional Hospital serves as a referral centre to three community hospitals and one diagnostic centre in the South Okanagan region. It offers a wide range of services, including specialized medical units like Level 6 of the David E. Kampe Tower, a brand new 28-bed medical unit with Peritoneal Dialysis specialization.
Your Role:
In this role, you will work closely with Allied health professionals, such as OT, PT, SW, SLP, dietary, Pharmacy, and discharge planning nurse. You will have opportunities to build and expand your nursing skills in a variety of medical and surgical nursing units.
