Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Peace River Brewing. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet and welcome guests, respond to their needs, and ensure their satisfaction.
  • Table Management: Manage table reservations, seating arrangements, and ensure timely service.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments, balance cash, and maintain daily log books.
  • Inventory Management: Order and receive supplies, maintain inventories, and ensure a well-stocked environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with chefs, servers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food and Beverage Server Training, ProServe program, and First Aid Certificate.
