Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Peace River Brewing. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and provide menu recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, seating arrangements, and wait times to optimize customer satisfaction.
  • Cash Handling: Process payments, balance cash, and maintain daily log books to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Inventory Management: Order and receive liquor and other supplies, and maintain inventories to ensure a well-stocked restaurant.
  • Team Collaboration: Liaise between chefs, servers, and other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient service.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food and Beverage Server Training, ProServe program, and First Aid Certificate.
