Job Title: Restaurant Host/Hostess

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Restaurant Host/Hostess to join our team at Peace River Brewing. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet and seat guests, answer questions, and provide menu recommendations to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Table Management: Manage table assignments, ensure timely seating, and maintain a clean and organized dining area.
  • Communication: Liaise with kitchen staff, servers, and other team members to ensure efficient service and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with receiving and stocking supplies, maintaining inventory levels, and performing opening and closing duties.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members to achieve excellent customer service and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food and Beverage Server Training, ProServe program, and First Aid Certificate.
