Job Summary

Kunuwanimano Child and Family Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will provide critical support to our service team, ensuring the smooth operation of our programs and services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the service team, including receiving and screening mail, email, and other correspondence.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including reports, memos, and other related documents.
  • Arrange meetings and appointments, prepare agendas, and take and distribute minutes.
  • Coordinate room bookings, audio-visual equipment, and refreshments as required.
  • Arrange transportation for children and families as needed.
  • Maintain and update client records, documents, and case notes.
  • Provide coverage for the Executive Assistant position and Reception as required.
  • Participate in internal committees and work teams as needed.
  • Support the investigation of allegations of child abuse and/or maltreatment.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary diploma in a related field, such as social service work or office administration.
  • 1-3 years of experience in office administration, with progressively responsible administrative responsibilities.
  • Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • Ability to speak a native language is considered an asset.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and administrative skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid Ontario Driver's license and ability to travel.
