About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Consultant Plus Immigration Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain records of employee benefits, including dental, health care, and vision care plans.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including trial balances and statistical reports.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, and identify and mitigate potential financial risks.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
