Adecco Canada is currently recruiting for a Bilingual Administrative Lead to join our team in downtown Ottawa, ON. This is a 12-month onsite contract opportunity with a possibility of extension. The successful candidate must be eligible for a Reliability Security Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate administrative procedures and systems to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Recruit, train, and allocate responsibilities to personnel, ensuring maximum productivity.
  • Assess staff performance and provide coaching and guidance to ensure optimal results.
  • Ensure the smooth flow of information within the company to facilitate business operations.
  • Manage schedules and deadlines, monitoring costs and expenses to assist in budget preparation.
  • Oversee facilities services, maintenance activities, and tradespersons, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
  • Organize and supervise other office activities, including recycling, renovations, and event planning.
  • Stay up-to-date with organizational changes and business developments, ensuring operations adhere to policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • University degree in business administration or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience working as an Administrative/Executive Assistant.
  • Experience in managing operations of a big organization, including financial systems, budgeting, human and physical resources.
  • Excellent Microsoft skills.
  • Spoken and written proficiency in English and French is required.
  • Knowledge of Workday would be an asset.
