At VANCOUVER MITSUBISHI, we are seeking a highly skilled Wholesale Purchasing Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent opportunity with a competitive salary of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets. You will also be required to provide excellent customer service, review requirements, and select and purchase merchandise for resale.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain contact with suppliers to negotiate prices and delivery terms
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring timely and efficient delivery
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
  • Review requirements and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account market trends and consumer demand
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in wholesale purchasing or a related field
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Degree in Business Administration or related field (an asset)
