Job Title: Wholesale Buyer

PhoneBox is seeking a skilled Wholesale Buyer to join our team. As a Wholesale Buyer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices and credit terms, and overseeing the distribution of merchandise to our outlets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for PhoneBox.
  • Oversee the distribution of merchandise to our outlets, ensuring that inventory levels are adequate and that products are delivered on time.
  • Review requirements of our establishment and determine the quantity and type of merchandise to purchase.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, taking into account factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Supervise the work of other buyers, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements:
  • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as business or supply chain management.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field, such as purchasing or procurement.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with MS Excel and other business software.
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online marketplaces.
  • Fluency in English and/or French.
