Food Service Team Lead

Lindsay Firehouse Subs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain inventory levels
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring that food is prepared to our high standards
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Hire and train food service staff to meet our high standards
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and manage budgets and cost estimates to optimize profitability
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and budgeting decisions
- 3-4 years of experience in a food service establishment, preferably in a supervisory role
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 25 pounds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
