Technical Consulting Director, Hydrology

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Technical Consulting Director to lead our Water practice in Canada. As a senior leader, you will be responsible for designing and executing water studies for major mining projects, working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the preparation of technical documents, including water balance and geochemical models, for environmental assessments and permitting applications.
  • Provide technical expertise to expand our water management services and client base in Canada.
  • Contribute to business development in our global impact assessment and planning service area, identifying and developing new opportunities.
  • Collaborate with our Integrated Water Resources team to deliver insights and value for our clients through technical analyses.
  • Represent ERM and build relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in civil or environmental engineering or a related field.
  • 15+ years of consulting experience in water resource management, impact assessment, and permitting in the Mining Sector.
  • Strong technical competence and broad knowledge of impact assessment best practices.
  • Well-developed team building and influencing skills.
  • Recognized technical expertise by an established reputation in the marketplace.
