Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Contract/Vendor Analyst to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. This role is a critical part of our market data and services acquisition, management, and servicing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Data Services Acquisition and Implementation: Source, negotiate, and administer market data services contracts.
  2. Contract Management: Renew, modify, and maintain contracts, ensuring compliance with company parameters.
  3. Cost Management: Collaborate with the Invoice Payment Team to manage vendor invoices, validate costs, and attribute expenses.
  4. Compliance Management: Ensure service entitlements align with contract terms.
  5. Internal Business Partner Management: Work with internal stakeholders to process data sourcing requests, license requests, and ensure technology solutions meet company needs.
  6. Database and Record-Keeping: Maintain high-quality data in systems, including inventory database management and invoice review processes.
Requirements
  1. 3-4 years of experience working with investment professionals and managing market data services.
  2. 1-2 years of experience in accounting or budgeting for an asset.
  3. Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Access.
  4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven interpersonal skills.
Soft Skills
  1. Client focus, priority setting, business acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic business sense.
  2. Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
  3. Quick learner with flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. 3 years of experience in vendor management and invoicing.
  2. 3 years of experience using TRG-Screen or MDSL software.
  3. 5 years of experience with investment market data and/or financial services industry experience.
  4. Understanding of database systems.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
