About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Nexus Systems Group Inc. as a Contract/Vendor Analyst, playing a vital role in the market data and services acquisition, management, and servicing lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Data Services Acquisition and Implementation: Source, negotiate, and administer market data services contracts, ensuring seamless implementation and management.
  2. Contract Management: Oversee contract renewals, service additions, and changes, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance.
  3. Cost Management: Collaborate with the Invoice Payment Team to manage vendor invoices, validate costs, and ensure accurate cost attribution.
  4. Compliance Management: Manage service entitlements in line with contract parameters, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  5. Internal Business Partner Management: Work closely with internal business partners to process data sourcing requests, license requests, and ensure technology solutions align with the company's environment.
  6. Database and Record-Keeping: Maintain high-quality data in systems, including inventory database management and invoice review processes.
Requirements
  1. Experience: 3-4 years working with investment professionals, with 1-2 years in accounting or budgeting an asset.
  2. Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and MS Access.
  3. Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven interpersonal skills, client focus, priority setting, business acumen, analytical thinking, and strategic business sense.
Preferred Qualifications
  1. Vendor Management Experience: 3 years in vendor management and invoicing.
  2. Software Experience: 3 years using TRG-Screen or MDSL software.
  3. Industry Experience: 5 years in the investment market data and/or financial services industry.
  4. Database Systems: Understanding of database systems.
Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience.
