Job Title: Senior Contract Analyst

Job Summary:

The Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Contract Management group, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts for the natural gas and storage portfolio. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring compliance with contract requirements and building strong relationships with contract counterparties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contract administration: Manage contract processes, ensuring timely completion of milestones and obligations.
  • Negotiation: Support contract negotiations and develop negotiation principles, strategies, and processes.
  • Contract development: Participate in the analysis and development of contracting terms and conditions.
  • Stakeholder relations: Establish relationships with contract counterparties and represent the IESO at meetings.

Requirements:

  • Undergraduate degree in Engineering or Business.
  • At least 2 years of progressive electricity industry experience.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to work with contract counterparties.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
