About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Sustainability Specialist to join our team at Englobe. As a key member of our environmental consulting team, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement environmental sustainability strategies and initiatives to support our clients' business objectives.
  • Provide consulting services to clients on environmental site assessments, remediation, and hazardous building materials assessments.
  • Prepare and file Records of Site Condition to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of environmental principles to complex projects, providing technical leadership and direction to team members.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers to ensure projects are executed in compliance with quality standards and regulations.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure our services remain cutting-edge.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Engineering, Applied Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a strong background in environmental site assessments and remediation.
  • Professional Engineer or Geoscientists association membership.
  • Experience in natural environmental science projects, hazardous materials surveys, and contaminant hydrogeology.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Atlantic Region as required.
