Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Project Coordinator to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As an Environmental Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the implementation and management of environmental projects, working closely with our environment team to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and complete assigned activities related to environmental project implementation and management, including phased environmental site assessments, surveys for designated substances, and air quality monitoring.
  • Supervise and verify site remediation and tank removal activities, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Prepare technical reports and proposals, and develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Apply and promote Englobe's health and safety rules, ensuring a safe working environment for all team members.

Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in environmental engineering, earth sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant environmental assessment/field experience.
  • Member of Professional Engineer and Geoscientists is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Working knowledge of provincial and federal environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in supervising contractors on the work site.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to complete work within established timeframes.
  • Team-oriented and excellent communicator.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Atlantic provinces on an occasional basis.
