Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated LPN to join our Acute Care unit in Wetaskiwin. In this role, you will work on all three inpatient acute care units, ranging from 16 to 27 beds, with opportunities to work in both surgical and medical units. This is an excellent opportunity for personal and professional growth, as you will be working closely with Nurses, Physicians, Unit Clerks, and Health Care Aides in a collaborative team environment.

Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, working to your full scope of practice. You will also have the opportunity to participate in various teams and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of approximately $**85,000 - 110,000 per year**, depending on experience. Additionally, you may be eligible for Canada Student Loan forgiveness if you meet other eligibility requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification
