Retail Store Manager

At Drifters Motel & Restaurant, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our sales floor, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our merchandise is presented in an attractive and well-organized manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are adequately trained to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their job duties.
- Order merchandise and authorize the return of items that do not meet our quality standards.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that our sales floor is adequately staffed at all times.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to help inform our business decisions.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory to ensure that our merchandise is accurately tracked and that our sales floor is well-stocked.
- 1-2 years of experience in a retail supervisory role.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
