We are seeking a seasoned creative leader to spearhead our in-house agency's copywriting efforts. As the Head of Copy, you will be responsible for developing high-level creative concepts, leading brainstorming sessions, and overseeing campaign execution. You will also mentor and guide a team of copywriters, ensuring the work produced is strategically sound, on-brand, and meets the highest standards of creativity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute creative strategies for integrated marketing campaigns across various channels.
  • Collaborate with the ACD on design concepts to create cutting-edge digital campaigns.
  • Champion big ideas while maintaining focus on brand voice and tone consistency.
  • Stay informed about current creative trends, industry standards, and emerging platforms.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of copywriters, providing feedback and guidance.
  • Review and refine copy to ensure it meets client objectives and aligns with overall creative direction.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, strategists, and account teams to execute on client deliverables.
  • Present creative concepts and copy to leadership, articulating the strategy behind the work.
  • Respond to internal stakeholder feedback in a timely and professional manner.
  • Craft engaging, persuasive, and original copy for various mediums.
  • Ensure copy is not only creative but also aligned with SEO best practices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Work closely with marketing and media teams to ensure creative ideas are data-driven and strategically sound.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional copywriting experience, with at least 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing creative thinking, big ideas, and polished copy.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Strong presentation and client communication skills.
  • A deep understanding of branding, consumer behavior, and marketing trends.
  • Experience in digital, print, and broadcast channels is a must; familiarity with SEO principles is a plus.
  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a creative team.
