Job Summary
The Toronto Lands Corporation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Real Estate Attorney to join our team as the General Legal Counsel for Real Estate and Land Use Planning. This is a critical role that requires a deep understanding of real estate law, land use planning, and environmental laws.

Requirements
- Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction(s).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on real estate law, land use planning, and commercial transactions. Previous experience in a leadership or managerial role preferred.
- Expertise: In-depth knowledge of real estate law, land use planning law, and environmental laws. Strong understanding of contract law and transactional processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex legal issues, identify potential risks, and formulate strategic solutions.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate legal concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
- Negotiation: Proven negotiation skills with the ability to achieve favorable outcomes in real estate transactions and legal disputes.
- Leadership: Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing legal and business environments, demonstrating flexibility and resourcefulness.
- Integrity: High ethical standards and a commitment to upholding legal and professional integrity in all dealings.
