Job Summary

Health Careers in Saskatchewan is seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Tatagwa View. As a key member of our Residential Care Unit, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and promoting health outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Order diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers
Requirements
  • Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) degree
  • Two (2) years of experience as an Advanced Practice Nurse
  • Basic Life Support Instructor Certificate (BLS) and valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Leadership skills, interpersonal skills, computer skills, and critical thinking skills
Competencies
  • Pharmacotherapeutic intervention skills
  • Ability to apply research to nursing practice
  • Communication skills to provide/obtain verbal and/or written opinions/advice
  • Competent critical thinking/judgement/autonomous decision making capabilities
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team
