Key Responsibilities- Transportation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Logistics: Load and unload goods, oversee the safety and security of cargo, and perform emergency roadside repairs as needed.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless coordination and timely delivery.
- Administrative: Maintain accurate records of vehicle condition, mileage, and maintenance, as well as adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Certifications: Possess a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A) and any other relevant certifications or licenses.
- Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with varying weather conditions and terrain.
- Physical Demands: Be able to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods, as well as work in a physically demanding environment.
- Language: Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
