Long Haul Truck Driver

At Whistler 99 Courier and Freightways Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation of goods.
- Load and unload goods, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
- Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks, maintaining a high level of vehicle maintenance and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
- Oversee the condition of the vehicle, performing pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order.
- Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
- Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
- Permanent work term
- English language proficiency
- 32 to 40 hours of work per week
