Long Haul Truck Driver

As a Line Haul Truck Driver with Sea to Sky Courier and Freight Ltd., you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong navigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Key Responsibilities- Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently.
- Vehicle Operation: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle and perform regular inspections to ensure it is in good working order.
- Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch and record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Certifications: Hold a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
- Work Conditions: Work in a fast-paced environment with varying weather conditions and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
