About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Absence and Disability Management Consultant to join our team at HUB International. As a key member of our Employee Benefits Consulting Practice, you will work closely with clients to develop and implement effective absence and disability management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and execute absence and disability management consulting mandates for clients across various industries.
  • Provide expert guidance on disability management processes and best practices.
  • Assist senior colleagues on complex consulting strategies and mandates.
  • Develop and implement tools for disability management consulting.
  • Collaborate with clients to improve their absence and disability management documentation and governance.
  • Monitor program performance and implement best practices.
  • Mentor clients and colleagues on complex disability claims scenarios.
  • Conduct process, policy, and claims audits.
  • Manage small to medium-sized projects from start to finish.
  • Analyze multiple data sets and develop actionable strategies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients via virtual meetings, emails, and in-person sessions.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in case management within insurance or a third-party provider.
  • Proven experience in case management, particularly with STD, LTD, and salary continuance.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Strong analytical, creative, strategic, and integrative skills.
  • Advanced data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality client work efficiently and accurately.
  • Proficient in presentation delivery.
  • Excellent time management, prioritization, and project management skills.
  • Growth-oriented mindset, open to feedback and ongoing development.
  • Adaptability and quick learning in a changing organization.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of the latest trends in absence and disability management.
  • Problem-solving skills with a proactive and positive approach.
  • Polished written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong teamwork abilities and self-motivation.
  • Proficient in computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
