Kitchen Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Kitchen Manager to join our team at T.L HOLDINGS INC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our kitchen, ensuring that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles.
  • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Hire and manage kitchen staff, ensuring that we have the right people in place to deliver exceptional service.
  • Ensure that all food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, ensuring that we are operating within our financial means.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
  • Prepare food order summaries for our chef, ensuring that all orders are accurate and complete.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys, ensuring that all food is presented to the highest standards.
  • Establish work schedules, ensuring that we have the right people in place at the right time.
  • Manage kitchen operations, ensuring that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a kitchen management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional service.
