As a Risk Management Analyst in Capital Markets, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team responsible for assessing credit exposures of trading and lending activities for complex transactions.

The primary responsibilities of this role include performing credit analysis on investment managers and individual borrowers, reviewing lending and/or trading transactions, and monitoring borrower's business and financial performance. You will also assist in daily monitoring of financial and industry information, regulatory changes, third-party analysis, and other early warning signals.

To succeed in this role, you must have strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior time management skills, and attention to detail. You should also have knowledge and understanding of financial statement analysis, experience with Excel, and demonstrated research capabilities.

Our ideal candidate is currently pursuing an MBA or is in their 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate program. Some knowledge of and interest in pursuing a career in Risk Management or Capital Markets would be an asset. Previous experience using online research tools such as Bloomberg or S&P/Moody's/Fitch ratings would also be beneficial.

This is a 4-month student placement position with a start date of May 2025 and end date of August 2025. The salary for this position is estimated at $55,000 per annum, based on the title, job description, and location in Toronto, Ontario.
