Job Title: Senior Financial Risk Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Risk Analyst to join our team at Kelly Professional & Industrial. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for assessing and managing financial risk ratings for a diverse portfolio of privately held companies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate Financial Statements: Extract values from Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Statements of Cash Flow from privately held companies' financial statements, accurately inputting them into the Risk Rating model.
  • Risk Rating Calculations: Generate Borrower Risk Rating (BRR) calculations for various requests based on provided financial data.
  • Financial Statement Analysis: Make adjustments to financial statements as needed, creating revised financial statements and recalculating BRR ratings.
  • Intercompany Transactions: Understand and apply eliminations for intercompany transactions to consolidate financial statements across multiple entities.
  • Support Manager: Support the Manager, Risk Rating, in additional tasks as required.
  • Collaboration: Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and engaging work environment.

Requirements:

  • Financial Expertise: Proficiency in reading and interpreting various types of financial statements (company-prepared, notice to reader, review engagement, and audited).
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Technical Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingualism: Bilingual in French (fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).
  • Experience: Experience in finance or accounting is required.

Education:

  • Post-Secondary Education: Minimum of a post-secondary education with a degree in Commerce or Business Administration.
  • Specialization: Specialization in accounting or finance is strongly preferred.

Compensation: $28.00/hour + 4% vacation pay. The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $58,160/year, considering a 40-hour workweek and 52 weeks per year, assuming a hybrid schedule with 2-3 days onsite per week.
