Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Presse Cafe Panam. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the efficient preparation and serving of food to our customers.
Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and cooking of food, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits.
- Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, and sanitize kitchen equipment and utensils.
- Restock refrigerators, freezers, and storage areas with food and supplies.
- Keep records of food quantities used and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Assist with serving customers at counters or buffet tables, and take orders as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy loads.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
