About the Role

The IT End User Services group is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Analyst to join their team. As a key member of the Service Desk team, you will serve as the first point of contact for Brookfield Renewable staff to contact the IT team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Receive, act on, and triage requests to the IT team via various channels
  2. Provide Level 1 and 1.5 support to end-users, including software installation, operating system and hardware issues, printer setup, and assistance with enterprise-wide toolsets such as Office 365
  3. Provide remote support to users via TeamViewer and SCCM
  4. Assist in asset management and tracking of both hardware and software assets
  5. Participate in on-call support rotation, providing after-hours support as needed

Requirements

  1. College diploma or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Programming/Science, Engineering, or related field
  2. Equivalent work experience will be accepted
  3. Strong time management skills, able to manage multiple priorities and work on multiple tickets at once
  4. Customer-centric mindset and strong interpersonal skills
  5. Exceptional problem-solving ability
  6. Ability to articulate solutions to problems clearly and effectively to non-technical colleagues
  7. Experience using ServiceNow as a ticketing system
  8. Functional knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10 enterprise deployments
  9. Functional knowledge of the M365 toolset (i.e. Office Suite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint)
  10. Understanding of Group Policy structure is an asset
  11. Working knowledge of ITIL processes
  12. Fluency in English and French is required
