Job Title: Project Manager - Data Driven Technology

Vantix Systems Inc is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to lead and deliver data driven technology projects in collaboration with Data Engineering platform teams. The successful candidate will provide a high quality data and data-product/data platform, setting up operations frameworks/processes and managing completed data projects.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years' experience working as a Project Manager on large complex software application development projects within a large and complex enterprise IT environment. They will also have experience managing multiple projects concurrently, defining project vision, scope and goals in collaboration with business stakeholders, and developing project deliverables.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing custom application development projects with at least 5 team members, successfully implementing IT solutions in an environment with project resources from across multiple teams or organizations. They must work from within Canada due to network and data security issues.

Requirements:

  • 8 years' experience working as a Project Manager on large complex software application development projects
  • 8 years' experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • 8 years' experience defining project vision, scope and goals
  • 8 years' experience developing project deliverables
  • 8 years' experience managing custom application development projects
  • 8 years' experience successfully implementing IT solutions
  • Must work from within Canada

Nice to Have Skills:

  • 7 years' experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships
  • 5 years' experience leading project governance, change management and communication activities
  • 5 years' experience as project manager managing agile projects
  • 3 years' experience working on Data platform projects
  • 4 years' experience making decisions and recommendations on highly technical or complex business issues
  • 4 years' experience conducting, facilitating and interpreting impact and risk assessments
  • 4 years' experience creating and managing project forecasts and budgets
  • Currently active PMP or PGMP Certification
