Bridges of Canada Inc. is seeking a qualified Imam to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading religious services, supervising staff, and administering programs of religious education.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular religious services and ceremonies
- Supervise and mentor office and volunteer staff
- Administer rites of faith, including marriages and funerals
- Develop and implement programs of religious education
- Provide spiritual guidance and support to staff and clients
- Perform administrative tasks and maintain records
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Confidential security clearance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The successful candidate will work in a correctional facility, providing spiritual support to inmates and staff. The work environment is fast-paced and requires strong organizational and time management skills.
