Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Bayview Hotel Group Ltd. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing room reservations, and ensuring a smooth guest experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist guests with special needs and provide personalized service
  • Take, cancel, and change room reservations in a timely and efficient manner
  • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including local attractions and points of interest
  • Process group arrivals and departures, ensuring seamless check-in and check-out processes
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a clean and comfortable environment
  • Clerical duties, including faxing, filing, and photocopying
  • Follow emergency and safety procedures, including responding to guest emergencies and incidents
  • Contact guests to deliver requested wake-up calls and provide general information about hotel services
  • Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information
Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and move quickly and efficiently around the hotel
