Role Overview

The Partnerships Associate plays a vital role in the Canadian Wealth Management Partnerships team, contributing to the overall success of the team by executing specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives in support of the team's business strategies and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support Regional Leaders and Wealth Management Consultants
  • Provide day-to-day accountability for investigations, analysis, and reporting for Bank Partners, CWM partners, regional leaders, and WMCs/Regional Managers Commercial & Wealth.
  • Manage Regional inbox and respond to inquiries from Wealth Management Consultants in line with Partnerships SLA.
Provide Support to Wealth Management Consultants/Regional Managers, Commercial/Wealth
  • Support with Salesforce, including providing WMC/Wealth Advisory instruction to accurately record sales when needed, reviewing entries and reports for accuracy, and creating and following up with Salesforce Service Centre tickets when issues arise.
  • Provide support with expense policies and T&E, as well as marketing materials as needed.
Month-End and Quarter-End Activities
  • Investigate missing credit issues and identify opportunities to proactively identify fixes for future scenarios.
  • Log missing credits and follow escalation/approval processes.
  • Create entries in Salesforce for MD/IS/iTRADE reporting.
  • Export WMC pipelines monthly.
  • Prepare WMC to IS pipeline monthly.
  • Log MBR neutralization inquiries.
Contribute to the Achievement of the Partnerships Strategy
  • Participate in workshops, job shadowing activities, and problem-solving sessions aimed to streamline monthly validation and recording processes.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of bank administrative experience.
  • Strong administrative background.
  • Previous experience with Scotiabank systems is an asset.
  • Experience working with Salesforce.
  • Well-developed knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel & Teams.
  • Ability to multi-task with conflicting priorities.
  • Ability to accept challenges and adapt to a dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail, and high-level of accountability for the quality and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Knowledge of Wealth Management industry.
