IT Leadership and Technical Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT leader to spearhead our technical support function at Encore Market Engagement.
The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, hands-on experience in managing help desk operations, and a proven track record of delivering effective training sessions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage help desk operations to ensure efficient client satisfaction and first-contact resolution
- Monitor IT system performance and proactively resolve issues
- Manage Windows-based laptops, including software installation and maintenance
- Administer Office 365 and support Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, and related tools
- Support employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including new user setup and equipment preparation/shipping
- Manage IT assets and ensure accurate inventory tracking
- Serve as the primary point of contact for outages, changes, or technical updates
- Collaborate with teams to identify recurring issues and implement permanent solutions
Requirements:
- Advanced troubleshooting expertise with iOS devices, Windows laptops, and Office 365
- Proficiency in asset management (tracking/shipping IT equipment)
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) in English
- Ability to deliver effective technical training weekly to diverse audiences
Technical Skills:
- Office 365 administration
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Teams and Office Suite
- Mobile device & Laptop support (iPads, smartphones, Lenovo Windows Laptops)
- Experience with Microsoft Azure administration
- Familiarity with Zendesk or similar helpdesk platforms

We estimate this role's salary to be around $80,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location factors. This figure is an estimate and may vary based on individual qualifications and circumstances.
