About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at 1848587 Alberta Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our residential construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Supervise workers and projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Team Leadership: Co-ordinate and schedule activities, recruit and hire workers, and carry out related staffing actions.
  • Training and Development: Train or arrange for training to ensure workers have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Cost Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure health and safety regulations are followed on all construction sites.
  • Personnel Management: Recommend personnel actions and establish methods to meet work schedules.
  • Materials Management: Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Work Environment

As a Residential Construction Supervisor, you will work outdoors in a noisy construction environment. You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 people, including trades helpers and labourers.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
