Curriculum Coverage Teacher and French as a Second Language Educator

Job Summary:
The Durham Catholic District School Board is seeking a qualified LTO Teacher and FSL Specialist to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and inclusive environment, supporting the academic and linguistic development of students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality instruction in French as a Second Language and support the curriculum coverage needs of the school
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless curriculum delivery and student support
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote academic growth
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay current with curriculum developments
Requirements:
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
- French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
