Job Summary:We are seeking a highly qualified Curriculum Coverage Specialist and French Language Educator to join our team at the Durham Catholic District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing curriculum coverage and teaching French as a second language to students.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide curriculum coverage for a 0.6 FTE position
- Teach French as a second language to students
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
- Certification in good standing from the Ontario College of Teachers
- Primary/Junior and/or Junior/Intermediate Basic Qualifications
- French as a Second Language Part 1 Required
