Job Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Curriculum Coverage Specialist and French as a Second Language Educator to join our team at Durham Catholic District School Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing long-term substitute coverage for a Curriculum Coverage and FSL position.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide long-term substitute coverage for a Curriculum Coverage and FSL position
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners
- Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth transition of students and curriculum
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Valid Ontario teaching certification
- Experience in Curriculum Coverage and FSL education
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
