We are seeking a talented Account Partner to join our team at BDC Advisory Services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in conducting business development activities, assessing client needs, and providing consulting solutions to improve or ensure the competitiveness of Canadian small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

About the Role

  • Conduct business development activities to maintain and nurture a strong pipeline of opportunities to achieve sales objectives.
  • Adopt a value-added sales or commercial approach by conducting research and compiling strategic information on customers, their business lines, economic and market trends.
  • Follow up on project deliverables based on service offerings to ensure client satisfaction. In collaboration with the delivery team, evaluate the project and measure client satisfaction, once the project is completed.
  • Leverage business assets and cross-functional capabilities to create maximum value for clients and create new opportunities for BDC.
  • Stay up to date on BDC Advisory Services' offerings and solutions, as well as BDC's technology environment, tools, policies, and procedures.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, or a related discipline. MBA is an asset.
  • Strategic vision and high emotional intelligence.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills.
  • Innovative thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in the financial services sector or with SMEs is an asset.
  • Good communication skills in both official languages (French and English), both oral and written, is required.
